Inspired Indigenous

A journey into ancestry, story and the work of reconciliation.

Inspired Indigenous began as a personal journey into ancestry and identity. Along the way it has become a place to listen, learn and share stories – both my own and those of inspiring Indigenous people, communities, leaders and change-makers I meet along the way. Through films, articles and conversations, this site celebrates Indigenous culture, seeks to honour and understand traditional ways of knowing and being, and actively inform and inspire those seeking to participate in the necessary work or reconciliation. Lastly, it seeks to dispel harmful stereotypes of Indigenous people on Turtle Island.
